From The National Gallery, London:
This view shows Moulin Huet Bay on the Channel Island of Guernsey with three figures in the foreground. The rocks have been identified as 'Les Tas de Pois d'Amont' on the left, while those on the right are probably 'La Surtaut' (Cradle Rock).
Renoir visited the island in September 1883, and this is one of a group of studies he produced during his stay.
